Large roadside and property panels
Large-format panels for highway frontage, farm fields, and supporter properties, in coroplast for cost or rigid substrate where the panel has to survive wind.
A lawn sign works at walking speed. A road at eighty kilometres an hour needs a panel, and a panel needs a frame. We print 4 by 4 and 4 by 8 foot panels, and we will tell you where coroplast is enough and where it is not: an unsupported 4 by 8 sheet of 4 mm plastic on an exposed field in October is a sail, and it will end up in the ditch with your name on it.
Where the exposure is real we move to a heavier substrate or a battened build, and we size the artwork for the viewing distance rather than shrinking a lawn sign design. A name legible at three metres is not legible at fifty, and most of the panels that fail on the road fail because nobody resized the type.
We will also tell you plainly when a location is not worth the panel. A large sign on a road with no legal place to mount it is money spent on a sign that comes down.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you do 4 by 8 in coroplast?
- Yes, and for a sheltered location it is the cost-effective answer. For an exposed field or a highway shoulder we will recommend a heavier build instead, and explain why, because a panel that blows down costs more than the upgrade would have.
- Do you supply the frame?
- We supply the printed panel and the mounting hardware we stock. Large panels are usually framed and installed by the campaign or a local contractor, and we will spec what the panel needs so whoever installs it is not guessing.
