Campaign print has no second chance. We produce in our own plant, so the schedule is ours to commit to rather than a supplier's to promise.
The Quebec provincial general election is set for Monday 5 October 2026, and the campaign period is a fixed and short number of days. Everything a campaign prints has to land inside it. That is a different problem from ordinary commercial print, where a week's slip is an inconvenience rather than a lost election.
We own the presses and the cutting, so when we commit to a date we are committing our own capacity rather than relaying a broker's estimate. We would rather tell you on the phone that your date is not achievable than take the order and disappoint you in week two. If we cannot hit it we will say so, and usually we can suggest what to cut to make the date: fewer sizes, one substrate, single-sided on the low-traffic run.
There is a money reason to get the timing right as well as a practical one. Signs erected before the campaign period begins are only partly reimbursable: the cost is divided by the days of use and reimbursed pro rata for the days inside the period. Putting signs up early can therefore cost you real money in your return. Your official agent will know the current treatment, and it is worth a conversation with them before you set the install date.
